Spring has come and gone, apparently — here in Salt Lake we woke up to several inches of snow and a return of the cold. The predictions for this week look much of the same; a sad state of affairs for me, as I was just starting to get used to reading in my backyard, soaking up some much-needed Vitamin D. I suppose I will have to console myself with hot chocolate until the sun returns!
But we’re like the Pony Express here at TKE — “Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night” can stop us from having a fantastic event line-up! Come shake off the winter with us this week!
- Monday, March 31st: Veteran health journalist Martha Lear and her timely book Where Did I Leave My Glasses: The What, When, and Why of Normal Memory Loss.
- Thursday, April 3rd: Local author Rebecca Guevara and her book My Family, Mi Familia, a novel about multi-culturalism, love, and families.
- Friday, April 5th: Cecilia Galante and her young adult novel Patron Saint of Butterflies, a brave first novel about life on a religious commune.
